Abilene Mayor, Norm Archibald, announced that the City of Abilene is now under stage 2 water restrictions. If you're not sure what those restrictions are, we have everything you need to know.

According to the City of Abilene's website, the new restrictions state that residents can only water once every two weeks, alternating between the east and west sides of Abilene, with the last digit of your address determining what day you can water. Watering is permitted midnight to 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to midnight on the designated watering day.

The first week of watering will start on October 26th on the east side of Abilene. Customers on the west side of the line will begin watering on the week of November 2nd.
