Chorus Abilene began in 1990 as an adult choir, then called, The Classical Chorus of Abilene. Over the years it has grown and expanded from an initial 23 members about 130 members. There are now 4 different ensembles, ranging from first grade to adults. The Chorus will kick off their season on October 6th with "O Music".

The show will feature new Classical Chorus director Dr. Michael Scarbrough, who guest directed last year, and is a full-time conductor of the adults this year. The Children's Chorus, Youth Chorus and Chorale will also be performing.

The concert is Saturday, October 6th at 7:30. It will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, students and military.
