China Presents New “Tigon” Cubs to the Public [VIDEO]

What do you get when you cross a Tiger with a Lion? The cutest cubs ever is what; called Tigons. The lioness was bred with a tiger to come up with the new cross breed. However, they also have a sibling that is NOT a crossbreed but a pure bred.
Now I’m no scientist but I’m still a little confused as to how you end up with 2 tigons and one pure-bred lion cub. That is what happened though in China.
Although this is a rare occurrence it can and does happen in captivity. The two species are so closely related that it doesn’t cause a problem but creates a whole new species.
This video shows the cubs playing and also pics of the mother and father. The cubs seem to have more of a spotted look and blue eyes.
