Brad Paisley Releases Music Video for ‘Beat This Summer’

Brad Paisley continues his climb to the top of the country music charts with his newest song "Beat This Summer." Then over this past weekend, he released the video that goes with his new single. This will surely help catapult the song to the number one spot on the 'Hot 100 Country Music Charts.' This is a really cute video and I think it does a great job at following the songs storyline. I love this video because it brought back so many memories of my youth. I'd like to thank Brad Paisley for making me feel young again and this is truly a song and video about summer love. Are you ready to relive your youth? Check it out.

Handsome Jack the Black and White Pekingese Has a Home Now [UPDATED]

UPDATED: Saturday April 13, 12:26am

Friday during the big "Emergency Adoption" at Claclaw and Southwest Drive, Handsome Jack was adopted by a loving family. While the names of the adopting family are not available, a huge thank you goes to them. Jack only had the weekend left on his life card, as do so many of the other animals at the adoption. There's still time to adopt during the huge "Emergency Adoption." I'll be standing on the corner of that busy intersection by my doghouse bringing attention to these homeless animals. Please Help.

Rudy Will Live in an Oversize Dog House During the Emergency Animal Adoption This Weekend

A couple of weeks ago Paul Washburn with Rescue the Animals and Aaron Vannoy Animal Services Manager for the City of Abilene approached me with the idea of me living in that over-sized doghouse again, to draw attention to the unwanted animals at area shelters. I thought about it for a minute and said yes. The reason for me doing it again is simple, we are so close to setting an all time record for animals adopted here in Abilene that I'd hate to miss setting a new record while saving more pets.

Joanna Smith Plays News Reporter for a Day to Get Video Proof That “Girls Are Crazy”

Joanna Smith released a video wherein she plays news reporter to get video proof that 'Girls Are Crazy,' which happens to be the title to her new song. Her first example of crazy in this video was Honey Boo Boo. I am ruined for life now that I've watched the video, because every time I hear her song I'm going to think of that little Georgia girl jacked up on Mountain Dew, and that ain't right. Joanna promises to do more videos on the subject that "Girls Are Crazy." However she'd like to hear from you.

Grammy Award Winning Diamond Rio Returning to Billy Bobs Texas May 11th

Diamond Rio is coming back to Billy Bob's Texas on Saturday May 11th. The last time Diamond Rio played Billy Bob's was July 4th 2009. Since then the group shifted their music styling to more of a Country Christian genre. They've also won several Dove awards and (after 13 nominations) a Grammy for their work on the country christian album 'The Reason.' My question is "what kind of music will Diamond Rio play at the worlds largest honky-tonk?"

Rudy’s Weekend Road Trip to the Lowake Steakhouse in Lowake

I was back on the road again this weekend, taking my road trip to places I can make in a day. Since spring turkey season started last weekend, I found myself in Albany for the Wild Turkey Foundations (WTF) annual banquet. I thought of stopping at the infamous 'Beehive,' but time didn't allow it on that trip. As I drove home that night, I continued thinking about past hunting trips and the places me and my hunting buddies would frequent. Well known places like the Beehive Restaurant and Saloon in Albany, El Cazadores, Rancho Loma, Casa Cabana and the Lowake Steak House in Lowake Texas. The later was this trips destination.

Hunter Hayes New Song is ‘I Want Crazy’

Hunter Hayes newest song 'I Want Crazy' is the first song from his yet to be released album. While I was watching Hunter on the Academy of Country Music awards Sunday night, I began wondering "where is Hunter Hayes headed in his young career?" By the sounds on this lead single, Hayes clearly wants to show some maturity and restraint. By not letting his vocals wander in falsetto land, (like he's done in his last three singles.) There are a lot of lyrics that Hunter fits into 3 minutes and 57 seconds. It's a toe tapping, uptempo, begging for a good time song. Check it out.
