This video caught my attention because it mentioned drinking red wine and having headaches. This is something that happens to me, I can't drink red wines. Just drinking 1/2 a glass can give the worst headache. There is such a thing as Histamine Intolerance that brings on allergy type symptoms when ingested.

When you buy medications for allergies they are called "anti-histamines" they block the histamines that occur in your body and keep you from having adverse reactions. Histamines occur naturally in your body and when you eat certain foods it can trigger reactions like headache, increase/decrease in heart rate, red watery eyes and more.

Some foods that commonly create these affects include: aged meats and cheeses, foods containing yeast (like beer), tomatoes, citrus and even bananas.

I've noticed when I eat cilantro I get red and splotchy on my neck and chest. I try to limit cilantro but sometimes in Mexican food you or salsas it's used quiet often and I LOVE Mexican food. So I deal with it! And those of you that drink beer may actually be getting headaches because of a histamine intolerance to yeast not just a hangover...but I'll leave that to you to interpret.
