Despite the fact that 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy's flagship series has yet to secure an official season 5 pickup, while NBC's 'The New Normal' remains on the bubble, Murphy has already begun the search for his post 'American Horror Story: Coven' success story. New reports claim the prolific producer will next shop a racy new sexuality drama to premium cable, but will Murphy's 'Open' live up to its namesake?

Ryan Murphy's TV future is all but assured with the upcoming 'American Horror Story: Coven,' 'Glee's likely renewal, and upcoming HBO movie 'The Normal Heart,' but the provocative producer is already shopping his next buzz-worthy series. Deadline has revealed that Murphy has begun marketing potential for 'Open,' a "modern, provocative exploration of human sexuality and relationships" penned by 'Dexter' co-executive producer Lauren Gussis.

Murphy is primarily marketing the drama to the premium cable networks that could easily showcase such sensitive material, but several basic cable options are being considered as well. With multiple networks already bidding, 'Open' would mark Murphy’s first project with Fox 21, as part of his overall development deal.

We're still waiting for word of two of Murphy's other series, but what say you? Do you think 'Open' will be the next Ryan Murphy drama on everyone's lips?
