Wow, Alan Jackson has fulfilled his contract with current label Arista/Sony.  He's too young to retire, although so was Garth Brooks.  So what's next for Alan?

Alan Jackson has parted ways with his longtime record label, Arista Nashville, and its parent company Sony Music, it was announced Thursday (Jan. 20). He has sold more than 50 million albums during his 22-year tenure at the label.

Alan will tour this year starting in February in Canada and continue to Australia after that is anyone's guess.  If I had his money and no contractual obligations pretty sure you would find me on a beach somewhere with an umbrella drink in hand.
