1981 News Report Shows How the Internet Was Used in its Early Days

People in their 20′s might have a difficult time imagining a world where all the information is not at their fingertips. This news report from 1981 puts into perspective just how much progress technology has made over the past three-plus decades.

After watching this, the fact that I was able to easily find this 33-year old news story from San Francisco blows my mind. It shows how newspapers were sharing their stories digitally (minus pictures, comics and advertisements) with the mere 2-3 thousand home computer owners in the city that is now commonly known for initiating the computer technology boom.
