What in the Panhandle is going on here? Today – October, 17th 2019 – is a day that may soon be etched into the annals Texas Music history; as William Clark Green, Josh Abbott, Cleto Cordero (Flatland Cavalry), and John Baumann have announced "The Panhandlers."

The guys are teasing us, via each of their socials, with some sort of collaboration set for 2020. All four men are products of the thriving Lubbock music scene, and all have been known to collaborate with each other, even attending songwriter retreats together. But this seems like something more than that.

Whether it's a new song, album, tour, or something else; that remains totally and completely unclear. Hell, maybe it's a movie. That'd be rad. They are tagging Bruce Robison's Next Waltz in posts, so it's safe to assume they'll be involved somehow.

Are we intrigued? Yes. Definitely.

We'll keep y'all updated. In the meantime, social media pages have been created for The Panhandlers, follow along for updates: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook.
