Aaron Lewis' new CD release date has been pushed back to November 13th, but anxious fans can hear - and watch - new music now. The new single from the yet-to-be-released album, 'The Road' is a song called 'Forever', and the live video has been released, and it made its debut over the weekend on CMT.

Lewis shows off an emotional side with this sad song about growing weary of being on the road. The video is simple, grainy black and white, and simply lets Aaron's facial expressions (or lack of) and voice dictate the mood. Expect the fully produced and directed video to tell a story, but I think this video for 'Forever' speaks volumes. It tells us that it is a perfect song to have on an album titled 'The Road'. Here's the video:

Say what you will about the former Staind lead singer flipping genres into country music. The fact is, Aaron Lewis is more of a country singer and songwriter than a lot today's country artists. This isn't the same situation Darius Rucker (of Hootie & The Blowfish) and others found themselves in, where country music came to them and little changed about their music. Aaron switched to country music, seemingly both stylistically and emotionally. Expect that, come mid-November, you'll be listening to one of the best albums of the year with Lewis' 'The Road' CD release.

Aaron Lewis will be touring in support of his new CD, and is playing November 30th at Nutty Jerry's in Winnie, Texas, and December 1st at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth.
