Tyler Childers, Robert Earl Keen Jam Out to End Sold-Out Red Rocks Show [WATCH]

During his headlining debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver, Colo. on Sept. 30, Tyler Childers regaled a sold-out crowd with an appearance from iconic singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen. Keen was a supporting act on the bill that evening, along with Town Mountain, and at the end of Childers' headlining set list, he brought the two acts back to the onstage for an epic, show-stopping jam session of Keen's 1989 classic, "The Road Goes On Forever."

Keen, Childers and Town Montain frontman Robert Greer traded off verses during the performance, accompanying by a rousing set of instrumental solos and plenty of cheering on from the crowd. Press play above to watch the full song!

After the show, Childers took to social media to express how much the collaboration meant to him. "Last night was an absolute blessing, and I've sat in disbelief all day over it," he wrote on Instagram, alongside a series of pictures from the Red Rocks Amphitheatre show. "I am extremely grateful that Mr. Keen allowed us to share this evening with him and his band. Any opportunity to share a stage with [Keen] is a win in my book. To mark off our first Red Rocks appearance with such high company is an honor not lost on me and [my band the Food Stamps.]"

Childers' September Red Rocks show kicked off his 2019 Country Squire Run tour, in support of his sophomore album, Country Squire. The trek will continue through the winter of 2019-2020, wrapping with a four-night residency at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium in February.
