Crazy ‘Twilight’ Fans Fake Engagements to Try On Bella’s Gown

When Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) had her long-awaited wedding to Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) in the new ‘Twilight’ movie, she wore a lovely white gown that designer Alfred Angelo recently made available to the masses for $799.

Unfortunately, it seems the masses are a bit insane, because retailers are reporting scores of die-hard Twilight fans, or ‘Twihards’ are lying about being engaged solely to try on the dress.

Not only is this, you know, crazy, but it’s wasting the time of a lot of sales people during the holiday shopping rush.

What’s next, hospital delivery rooms begin reporting a rise in fake vampire births? Oh dear. Now we’ve given ‘Twihards’ the idea…
