'Transformers 4' is purportedly a soft reboot of the franchise, setting up an entirely new set of adventures and carrying on with a mostly new human cast. However, director Michael Bay is still at the helm, so it's no surprise it still, for better or worse, feels like the same thing. You already know if that delights or horrifies you, and the latest TV spots aren't going to change your mind.

The spots, which debuted on IGN and HitFix, are brief, but they contain snippets of new footage that look as glossy and loud as anything we've seen in a blockbuster movie. You've got robots rampaging across rural and urban America. You've got Dinobots breathing fire and our first look at Slug, the triceratops Dinobot, charging through city streets. You've got Optimus Prime warning the human race that they're featuring complete and total annihilation. You've got Kelsey Grammer and Stanley Tucci working hard to pay for those new extensions to their homes. Most importantly, you've got Mark Wahlberg asking for his alien gun so he can threaten some dweeb because it wouldn't be a Bay movie without comedic beats centered around people being jerks to each other.

Okay, we're allowed to be a little cynical about the fourth movie in a series based on robot toys. But if you're still excited to see Optimus and Bumblebee and the rest of the gang save the world (this time with 100% more Wahlberg), these spots are going to only get you more excited.

'Transformers 4' (officially titled 'Transformers: Age of Extinction') will delight you and/or give you a headache on June 27, 2014.
