The 'Tin Fore Golf Tournament' is a benefit fundraiser for the Taylor County Sheriff's Officers Association(TCSOA). Taylor County Deputy Phillip Stamper says that portions of this year's proceeds from the golf tournament will also benefit the various volunteer fire departments that were affected by the Mesquit Heat wildfires.

The tournament is being put on by the Taylor County Sheriff's Officers Association and they are still seeking sponsors to help offset the costs of the tournament and to raise more money for the association.
