The Texas A&M AgriLife extension is holding the 'Healthy Cooking School' for anyone who wants to learn how to prepare healthy meals for their families. If down home cooking is where your hearts at, then don't miss your chance to learn how to make a down home meal healthy. Renowned Chef Darlene Walton teaches the Healthy Cooking School at the Texas State Fair and also in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. Chef Walton will be teaching the class in Abilene. Here are all the details.

After 21 years catering to parties, conventions and all other types of occasions, Chef Darlene decided she wanted to become a certified chef, so she attended and graduated from the Dallas Arts Institute. She helps in promoting the Dallas Arts Institute to high school students and participates in the State Fair Celebrity Chef Show for the past 6 years.
