The City of Clyde will Recreate the Late 1800’s in West Texas, March 1st and 2nd
The City of Clyde has set the date for the festive yet very historic late 1800's recreation. The event will take place March 1st and 2nd, at Clyde Lake. The event has been given the name 'Frozen Foot Rendezvous' a recreation of life in the late 1800's right here in West Texas. There will be gun fights (reenactments of course), souvenir and chuck wagon food plus exhibitions of real life in the late 1800's. So lace up your boots put on your best cowboy hat and come join in on the fun at Clyde Lake.
There will be entertainment of all kinds like, hatchet and knife throwing, western gun fights, primitive survival skills and chuck-wagon cooking. All day demonstrations will include antique firearm displays and demonstrations , early day survival, leather working, buck skinners, gunfighters, knife and tomahawk throwing contests, chuck wagon fixing and chuck wagon cooking.
