Exciting Start to the 2025 Season

The Toyota ShareLunker competition is officially underway for 2025 and is already off to an exciting start! Brady Sanford of Millersview, Texas, made a splash this past weekend, landing a massive 13.13-pound largemouth bass, ShareLunker 670, at our very own West Texas lake, Lake O.H. Ivie! This marks the first Legacy Class catch of its kind for the season, with the lake continuing its reign as the top spot for big bass, having produced 54 Legacy Class fish in recent years.

How the Toyota ShareLunker Program Works

The Toyota ShareLunker program, hosted by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, invites anglers across the state to fish for trophy-sized bass, contributing to Texas' world-class fisheries. If you reel in a 13+ pound bass, you can loan it to TPWD for their selective breeding and stocking program. Anglers are rewarded with a catch kit, exclusive merchandise, and a chance to win a $5,000 Bass Pro Shops shopping spree.

Growing Statewide Event

This season promises great prizes for those who enter their big catches into the competition. As the statewide event continues to grow, the Toyota ShareLunker program draws anglers to lakes across Texas, including past favorites like O.H. Ivie and others.
