Exciting things are happening at our incredible Abilene Zoo, as two bald eagles will now make the new Keith Garner Bald Eagle Exhibit in Abilene their permanent home.

The Abilene Zoo is taking major precautionary steps to protect the birds of the Zoo from certain types of avian influenza. Other counties in Texas have reported current cases of the avian flu, but NOT in Abilene.

As monarch butterflies migrate across Texas, here are some things we can do to help these black-and-orange pollinators.
