Dan Aykroyd clarified his comments about last year’s Ghostbusters, while Sony responded to his initial statements, made on a British TV show, criticizing director Paul Feig, particularly about costly reshoots Aykroyd claimed killed any possibility of further Ghostbusters sequels.

Because this summer’s Ghostbusters established an alternate universe in which the original bustin’ team never existed (kind of like how The Walking Dead exists in a universe with no zombie literature), it’s pretty much impossible for Holtzmann, Erin Gilbert, and the rest of the team to meet Peter Venkman’s original crew. In real life, that is. But in comics, anything is possible, and a new crossover announced for 2017 from publisher IDW will see both teams meeting up for the first time, which sounds like tons of fun for anyone who isn’t a supernatural spirit.

With Paul Feig at the helm and a quartet of hilarious women who are great at improvising, it’s not surprising that the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of the Ghostbusters reboot is packed with additional scenes, outtakes, deleted scenes, gag reels and — as many fans hoped — an extended cut of the film. We won’t have a chance to see any of these bonus materials until October, but it should be interesting for those who felt as though Feig’s theatrical version may have been a little too safe.

If you haven’t been paying attention: Leslie Jones endured a barrage of disgusting racist and misogynist attacks that ultimately forced her to take a leave of absence from Twitter. The culprits? The very vocal contingency of Ghostbusters fans (aka Ghostbros) who have been decrying Paul Feig’s reboot because it features an all-female cast. Original Ghostbusters star Dan Aykroyd has come out in support of Jones, and he’s got some seriously harsh words for all the haters.

The cast of Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters are set to appear on The Graham Norton Show on June 23, but a couple of clips from their delightful episode have popped up online, including one in which Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy — at Feig’s urging — perform their “folk lady” version of the classic theme song. As an added bonus, their sharply-dressed director gets slimed, straight-up Nickelodeon style.

We’ve seen a lot of trailers for Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters, some controversial and some pretty great. But the latest one shows more of the ghosts the new crew will be busting.

That’s not the case, as OG Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd shared his positive thoughts on Feig’s reboot, inspiring a slew of predictably angry reactions.

Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot won’t be the only Ghostbusters movie hitting theaters this summer. If you’re itching to revisit Ivan Reitman’s 1984 comedy classic, then you might want to wait until June, when the original Ghostbusters returns to the big screen. The special re-release honors both the 32nd anniversary (sure, why not) of the film, as well as the release of Feig’s reboot, starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

The first trailer for Paul Feig’s female-led Ghostbusters remake arrived in March of this year and the reaction was almost immediately disappointing. Even among those, like us, who are excited for the Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig film, it was a poorly put together trailer that did little to inspire confidence in the finished product...

It’s okay to call Chris Hemsworth’s character in the new Ghostbusters movie big and dumb — those are his words, not mine. In a brilliant bit of casting, the actor sometimes known as Thor plays administrative assistant to Paul Feig’s ghost-busting crew, and a new featurette from the upcoming film will help you get to know Hemsworth and his earnestly goofy sense of humor (and ridiculous good looks, to be honest).
