The cost of higher education is getting, um, higher.
Campus Grotto recently released its annual list of the most expensive colleges in America and according to their statistics, the cost of attending just one year at the most expensive college hit a record high tuition this year at over $60,000.
The results are in, 'The Chronicle of Higher Education' just released their fifth annual report on 'The Academic Workplace,' based on a survey of more than 46,000 employees at 294 colleges and universities in America. 103 of the 294 institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” status. McMurry University was awarded honors in two separate categories.
Forbes, along with the Center for College Affordability & Productivity, tallied up the cost of tuition, books, transportation, computers, and room and board to determine the new list of America’s most expensive colleges. And some of them may surprise you.
