Southern Cooking Star Paula Deen Named Maxim Magazines Hottest Female TV Chef
She's a grandmother and I don't think she will be stripping down for the cover shot but she's pretty hot in some peoples eyes; including Maxim magazine-and they know hot women. The magazine voted her Hottest Female Chef.
Paula was in great company with Aida Mollenkamp, Padma Lakshmi, Eden Grinshpan and Giada De Laurentiis all being nominated as well. But it is Paula's down home, fattening, dangerous cooking that the editors liked most.
"Anthony Bourdain may think she's the most dangerous person in America thanks to her calorie-packed cooking, but we find danger sexy," the editors wrote.
Paula is 64 year old grandmother and lives in Savannah, Georgia with her husband Michael. She has two sons that run her 'The Lady and Sons' restaurant with her along with her other entrepreneurial activities. She has of course her Food Network television show, cookbooks, cookware, a furniture line and more.
She's been the subject of controversy because of her high fat, fried foods. She cooks with real butter, and a lot of it, a woman after my own heart quiet honestly. She makes delicious, country, homestyle, comfort food.
And now she will be featured in a leading men's magazine that reaches about 2.5 million people in the US.
So I can't leave you without one of Paula's great recipes. I found a good one and guess what? You're gonna need some butter! This is a creamy mac & cheese made in a crock pot.
