Dancing with the Stars entered week 6, about halfway through competition, and it's getting really tight now. Another guest judge was present and someone had to go home. Here is my recap of week 6's competition.

Redfoo from LMFAO was this weeks guest judge. Honestly, I don't know why. He had nothing to contribute, all he could say was 'whooooo, hoooooo' and 'wow'. He did score everyone high, so I guess that's something.

Maks and Meryl saw their first perfect 10 of the season and put on one heck of a tango. It was incredibly intense and beautiful all at the same time. The judges were blown away and gave them 10's all around.

Derek and Amy did a jive that I'm still trying to wrap my head around. The girl has prosthetic legs and can dance as well as the pros. They got a 38 out of 40 only because of one small little foot mistake.

Danica and Val received 36 out of 40 last night with their cha-cha, but were in jeopardy before the dance even started. They are getting great scores but need fan votes to keep them in the competition.

Peta and James did a quickstep that I thought was great, the judges had a few criticisms. Two of the judges loved it and two not so much, so that cost them a few points.

Charlie and Sharna also had a cha-cha this week. I like them both but I'm not fond of some of Sharna's choreography and this is one I wasn't impressed with. The judges, however, loved it and they received 36 out of 40.

Candace and Mark did much better this week. Candace came out on fire and didn't hold back like she has been. She shook it, and wasn't shy about performing a sexy cha-cha. I loved it, the judges had a few problems with it still; they just can't seem to give her what she deserves. She only received 32 of 40 points and she too was in jeopardy for the evening.

Tony and NeNe seemed to have made up after their spat last week but her dance was very lack luster to me. She tried to be sexy and even danced with her husband in the stands. I am just not a fan. The judges liked her dance but also seemed to find fault with much of her technique (thank goodness) so she didn't receive great praise but the voters may be of some help.

Finally, Cheryl and Drew did a tango. It was pretty good, better I think than Drew has done in the past. He's coming along and he's learning to open up and let himself just dance a little more. He and Cheryl were also in jeopardy and this would be their last dance. Although, Drew was considered the crowd pleaser of the season, he did not have the combined score from the judges and fan votes to stay. He and Cheryl were eliminated at the end of the night.
