Country music fans have long known the talent of Sara Evans, but her children have the music bug, too. Evans joined forces with daughter Olivia and son Avery to cover Chris Stapleton's "Tennessee Whiskey" at a recent neighborhood concert, and dad Jay Barker caught it on tape.

"Another great year at the neighborhood Halloween Party and so awesome watching Sara and our kids, Olivia and Avery, perform," Barker writes on his Twitter page. He also shared footage of the group singing the Aretha Franklin hit "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman":

Evans recently attended CMT Artists of the Year with Olivia as her date, and she grabbed headlines with her comments about inequality that she sees on country radio these days.

"I was sitting there watching Alison Krauss sing (alongside honoree Kelsea Ballerini) and I just got depressed,” Evans tells People about that particular night. "I just thought to myself, ‘This is bulls—.’ Women like Alison have made unbelievable music and has made powerful impacts on this genre, but we can’t get our music played. I felt like I was at a memorial following a death of some sort."

In the same interview, Evans opened up about her daughter Olivia’s aspirations to possibly follow in her mama's country music footsteps. "I’m just not sure what to tell her anymore," she admits. "I just don’t know."

Evans' next single will be "Long Way Down," she says, and is as country as country gets these days. On Nov. 24, the Missouri native will head out on the road on her At Christmas Tour.
