San Francisco Restaurant Pulls Grasshopper Tacos From Menu

If you ask me San Francisco seems like a strange place anyway but there is a restaurant there that was selling grasshopper tacos.  WAS being the key word here, the health department put the brakes on that obscure item though.Yes, you read correctly, grasshopper tacos.  The Mission Street Mexican restaurant was told he can not

sell these grasshoppers because they are imported from Mexico and are not FDA approved.  The tacos are a huge hit for those who like to live on the edge and try new things.  However, he may never get them back on his menu because the U.S. does not have a supplier for bugs used for consumption.  So I guess if you want a grasshopper taco you will just have to catch and make your own from now on.

Who would eat this anyway?!! YUCK!
