If you can’t have eyes in the back of your head, it’s always handy to have a cameraman along to see what’s going on behind you.

Such was the lesson learned by a correspondent at KMBC News 9 in Kansas City, Missouri. While at the airport doing a routine story, her cameraman spied a curious scene in the background — a guy dropping to one knee to propose to his girlfriend. The happy couple got a brief interview, a flash of the bling, and hopefully a copy of the tape.
