Police vs. Fire Fighters Rib-Eating Contest Benefits Coats for Kids & Meals on Wheels

This Saturday the Police take on the Fire Fighters here in Abilene in a Rib eating contest. Not only will this be for bragging rights but it's also for a great cause too. Each of the organizations chosen charities will benefit from a fundraiser during the contest.

The APD and AFD charities are Coats for Kids and Meals on Wheels. These organizations will receive the benefits from the nights donations. On Saturday, June 29th Texas Roadhouse, hosting the contest, will donate 10% of their food sales to these charities.
