New Boot Trend From Mexico

There is a town down in Mexico called Matehuala and they have started the latest craze in footwear.  These hideous pointed boots.  Lady Gaga would be a great customer for them but I don't see that they are functional in anyway.  A dance crew called "Aliados" have made the boots super popular in Matehuala and the trend in now spreading to the surrounding towns.  The boots have been brought across the border by immigrants so don't be surprised if you see them in some night clubs.  That is if the club owners in the states allow them, many places have dress codes and I don't see these being allowed.  You would need safety lights or something to warn people you were coming, or to make sure you don't trip someone.  Besides all of that they are actually hideous looking.  And how the heck do you drive with those things on your feet?
