The day has finally come for Katy Perry to reveal the winning school in her "Roar" video contest on Good Morning America. A contest in which Abilene Cooper High School was a top 5 nationwide finalist.

And the winning school is...

...Lakewood High School.

The winning video, which caught Perry's eye right away for its school spirit, included more than 2,000 students and staff at Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Colo., from every stripe of high school life, outfitted in orange and black, lip-syncing to Perry's lyrics group by group.

Cooper High was the 4th finalist picked by Katy Perry for their inspirational video that focused on bullying, fears, and insecurities. The video was an amazing display of unity as the students gave a voice to the voiceless.

Even though Cooper High School didn't win this contest, I can't describe how proud of them that we all are. The students should be very proud for this work of art they created and their parents should feel proud for raising such amazing kids.
