Country heart throb Jimmy Wayne was a homeless teen. Always on the edge of being in trouble just trying to survive. So he, himself knows the pain and frustration it is to be homeless plus in and out of foster homes. That is why he donated $25,000 from his "Meet Me Halfway" fundraiser.

Jimmy walked from Nashville to Phoenix AZ. trying to raise awareness and money for "Homeless Teens" in America. When the opportunity arose that he could himself give to help the kids that are some-what being help by the state of Tennessee for whatever offenses they committed. The Monroe Harding facility offers a home to youths in state custody and teaches them basic life skills and financial management and ensures that they continue their education. I know that Abilene has resources that are available to our homeless teens in the Big Country, Hope Haven, Love And Care Ministries and Christian Homes Of Abilene.
