Jason Aldean Talks About All Three Nominations for the 2012 CMA’s [VIDEO]

Jason Aldean recently slowed down long enough to talk to reporters about his busy touring schedule and trying to keep up with a very hectic songwriting and recording schedule. Jason says "we actually wrapped up the 'My Kind of Party Tour' in Dallas Texas which was a two year long tour and now I'm taking a couple days off and I'm glad to be home with the CMA's going on, I'm excited". Aldean is nominated in three different categories, including Entertainer of the Year. The awards show is scheduled for tonight at 7 pm central.

Other than 'Entertainer of the Year', Jason is also up for 'Male Vocalist of the Year' and 'Single of the Year'. Jason goes on to say "just being nominated is a big honor, especially the 'Entertainer of the Year' that's the big one and I feel that's kind of like the touring award."  Aldean also admitted that his touring is the main thing he basis his career on. Some of the other hopefuls that also received the 'Entertainer' nod are Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and the only female in the spotlight is Taylor Swift. So the competition will be stiff and tonight's award ceremonies, good luck to them all.
