McDonald’s Scores Big in Texas With FIFA World Cup 2026 Collectible Cups and Squishmallows
Soccer fever is about to hit Texas harder than a July afternoon at a high school football stadium.
McDonald's is getting in on the FIFA World Cup 2026 action with limited-time meals, collectible cups, and Happy Meal toys that are sure to have fans from Abilene to Austin making a pit stop at the Golden Arches.

FIFA World Cup 2026 Meals Arrive at McDonald's
Starting today (June 4), McDonald's is rolling out the FIFA World Cup 26 Meal at participating locations nationwide. Fans can choose between a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets meal, and here's where things get interesting: each meal comes with limited-edition gold-packaged Big Mac Sauce.
It's basically the soccer version of finding a golden ticket, except this one comes with fries.
Collectible FIFA Cups Feature Soccer Superstars
The real draw for collectors may be the nine limited-edition cups featuring some of the biggest names in soccer history and today’s game.
Fans can collect cups featuring David Beckham, Ronaldinho, Christian Pulisic, Thierry Henry, Son Heung-Min, Lamine Yamal, Alphonso Davies, Santiago Gimenez, and even everybody's favorite purple celebrity, Grimace.
If you're the type who still has old Whataburger cups tucked away in a cabinet somewhere, you already know how this story ends.
Happy Meal Squishmallows Bring the World Cup to Kids
Beginning June 9, the FIFA World Cup Happy Meal will include one of 23 collectible Squishmallows plush toys, including official tournament mascots representing the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Each Happy Meal also unlocks access to an exclusive digital game, giving younger soccer fans another reason to get excited.
Texas Soccer Fans Have a New Reason to Visit McDonald's
With FIFA World Cup 2026 matches coming to “the house that Jerry built” and excitement building across Texas, these limited-time meals and collectibles are arriving at just the right time.
Whether you're a die-hard soccer fan, a collector, or just someone who never says no to a Big Mac, McDonald's may have found a way to make this summer's road trips, watch parties, and family dinners a little more fun.
Just don't be surprised if folks start trading collectible cups like baseball cards.
