The Urgent Dog List at All Kind Animal Initiative has been updated here in Texas, and once again, several fantastic dogs are waiting for someone to give them a fighting chance.
These pups don’t need sympathy nearly as much as they need adopters, fosters, and people willing to share their stories. Here are four dogs that immediately caught my attention.
Princess Leia Is Searching for Her Forever Galaxy
Princess Leia is good with dogs, wonderful with kids, kennel-trained, and potty trained. She can feel anxious inside the shelter, but once she gets comfortable, her affectionate personality comes alive, including adorable little “tippy taps” when she gets excited.
Come on, Abilene. Surely somebody has room for royalty. May the cuddles be with you.
Nike Is a Calm and Gentle Older Gentleman
Nike is an 8-year-old white Husky weighing approximately 50 pounds. This handsome senior is neutered, low-energy, and would love a peaceful home where he can enjoy affection and quiet time.
Nike needs to be the only pet, especially since cats aren’t exactly on his Christmas-card list.
