Tuscola Gears Up For A Lively Fourth Of July Celebration
Folks in Tuscola know how to throw down one heck of a Fourth of July shindig. For over a decade, this small-town Texas celebration has been swapping horsepower, hot dogs, and hometown pride for real-deal support of the Jim Ned Volunteer Fire Department’s life-saving mission.
And in 2025, the Tuscola 4th of July Car Show is back and revving harder than ever. Below are all of the details about the event and an interview with one of these heroes from the Jim Ned Volunteer Fire Department.

A Decade of Hot Rods for a Hot Cause
Since its start, this event has raised over $120,000 to help keep JNVFD rolling out when it matters most. That’s boots, gear, fuel, equipment, you name it. All thanks to a community that shows up and shows out every Independence Day.

In 2024, the event drew 2,500 people and over 100 incredible rides. This year? Expect even more engines, energy, and elbow grease.
