The big night happens this Saturday, March 21st, at the legendary Paramount Theatre, where 18 finalists will take the stage across three categories:

Adult
Jr. (13–17)
Mini (6–12)

We had a packed studio with finalists Ashley, Hadley, and Vince, along with Monique and Lacy from Chorus Abilene, plus Alvin from Wonderland Records, and you could feel the excitement. Check out the interview in the player below.

The finalists talked about everything from audition nerves at the mall to leveling up their performances for the Paramount stage. This isn’t karaoke night; these contestants have been grinding, rehearsing, fundraising, and putting in serious time to get here.

Meanwhile, Chorus Abilene pulled back the curtain on what really goes into this event. Not only is Abilene Idol a showcase of local talent, but it’s also their biggest fundraiser, helping support music education and opportunities for over 100 singers across the Big Country.
