If you grew up cruising North First Street in Abilene, you already know the deal. Windows down, music up, somebody revving an engine they probably spent way too much money on, and absolutely no regrets.

Fall Cruise Night is coming back to Abilene, and once again we're bringing a little old-school West Texas tradition back to North First Street.

Abilene Fall Cruise Night Takes Over North First Street

After some time off due to contstruction, Cruise Night is back on October 10 from 5 PM to 7 PM, shine up your car, truck, hot rod, classic, muscle car, heck, whatever you're proud to drive, and come cruise North First Street.

There’s no complicated registration or fancy rules for the cruise. Just get out there, enjoy the rides, and have some fun.

Alright, I don't want to sound like your dad here, but them's the rules.

We work with the Abilene Police Department to help make sure Cruise Night is safe for everybody, especially those watching on the side of the street and the folks bringing out their pride and joy.

That means no burnouts, fishtailing, reckless driving, or other stupid stuff that could get somebody hurt or damage one of these beautiful rides. There will be plenty of horsepower on North First. We don't need anybody auditioning for Fast & Furious: Abilene Drift.

Cruise it. Show it off. Have fun. Just don't be that guy.

Keepers Car Club Car Show Returns to Clyde

And we're not stopping with the cruise. Once again, we're teaming up with the Keepers Car Club in Clyde on October 10th for their car show, giving gearheads another chance to check out some incredible rides from around the Big Country.

Whether you've got a pristine classic, a wicked hot rod, a lifted truck, modern muscle, or you just love looking at cool rides, this is one of my favorite events we do every year.

So polish the chrome, wipe down the dash, and get that ride ready.
