On Monday night (September 10) our favorite North Carolinian, BJ Barham and his band American Aquarium made their national TV debut on Last Call With Carson Daly.

The two-and-a-half years have been marked by several changes for American Aquarium front man, BJ Barham. Namely a new daughter and new band. On June 1 it culminated with the release of his band's seventh studio album, Things Change.

Ahead of the album release Barham penned an essay for a premiere of the video for “The World Is On Fire.” He wrote, “This is one of the few songs that I have ever written where I can see my personal growth as a human being throughout the song. From the time I started the song to the time I finished it, my mindset and perception evolved. It’s always rewarding as an artist to know you grew because of an experience, but to actually be able to see and hear it is the most rewarding feeling.”

On Last Call the guys performed “Tough Folks” and “The World Is On Fire” in front of a sold out crowd at The Troubadour in Los Angeles, California.
