Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day are back in 'Horrible Bosses 2,' and these working stiffs have some new adversaries to face. As New Line Cinema announced the start of production in Los Angeles, California (from which we've obtained the first set photos), the studio also revealed the official plot synopsis and the full involvement of newcomers Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz.

Whereas Sudeikis' Kurt, Day's Dale and Bateman's Nick all faced their own nightmarish superiors in 2011's 'Horrible Bosses,' they now have a trickster father-son duo with who to contend. From the official press release of 'Horrible Bosses 2':

Fed up with answering to higher-ups, Nick, Dale and Kurt decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business in 'Horrible Bosses 2.' But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them. Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor’s adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company.

Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey will also reprise their roles from the first film for the sequel directed by Sean Anders. 'Horrible Bosses 2' is currently set for release on November 28, 2014.

In addition to the announced production, we've also got ourselves an additional look or two at some of the stars on the California set, which you can check out below.
