Singer-songwriter Frank Foster is premiering a stripped-back, acoustic version of his song "This Evenin'" exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play above to watch as Foster's vocals shine against the backdrop of two simple guitars.

Foster brings plenty of Southern twang and a soulful melody to "This Evenin'," a song that's dedicated to keeping romance at the forefront of a long-term relationship. Foster's own love with his wife Ashley inspired the track.

"I think the challenge in any relationship with any longevity is to keep that spark alive," Foster tells The Boot. "I feel "This Evenin’" was my way of saying, after all these years, I’m still in love with everything about you.”

Born in Louisiana and raised on a steady diet of Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings and other country traditionalists, Foster is the definition of an independent artist. He's released multiple albums that have hit the Top 20 on the Billboard country charts without major-label support. "This Evenin'" appears on Foster's recently released seventh studio album, titled 'Til I'm Gone; that project specifically debuted at No. 18 on the Top Country Albums chart following its release in late September.

In 2019, Foster is headed out on the road in support of 'Til I'm Gone. Fans can keep up with the artist at FrankFosterMusic.com.
