Dierks Bentley Announces His 2014 Riser Tour, Special Guests

Dierks Bentley looks to be using his

Boots in the Sand show as sort of a kickoff to a very busy 2014. While he's in Riviera Maya, Mexico, Bentley will release his seventh album (Feb. 25), then he hits the road for his 2014 Riser Tour.

Dierks has "hacked" into the CMT Twitter page, leaving cryptic messages to share the news of his opening acts, which will include Jon Pardi, Chase Rise, and

Chris Young on the 2014 tour. Here's what he tweeted about Pardi and Young:

After spending some quality time on the road with Miranda Lambert over the last couple years, Bentley appears poised to make a big splash as a lone headliner this year. On his website, he shared his excitement over the coming tour, stating:

"This tour is the culmination of everything I've been working on for the past two years, both out on the road and in the studio recording Riser. I know what my fans want: a kick ass show, an affordable ticket and a good parking lot scene to get the pre-gaming going! The guys opening the show and getting the party started all know how to put on a great live show, and when it comes time for my set, I can promise that we are going big!...I have never been more excited about a tour."

The tour kicks off May 9th in Charlotte, N.C.

Not only does Bentley's busy year include the 26-city tour and the Tropical Nights - Boots in the Sand getaway in Mexico, but he's also appearing at the 2014 Taste of Country Music Festival in June.
