Delores Hope widow of Bob Hope died today at the age of 102. She was reportedly at her California home when she passed.

She had been in pretty good health until the last few months.

Delores was a singer in a Bronx nightclub when she met her husband Bob. Bob heard Delores sign in a Broadway show and told his friend "I'm gonna marry that girl" and he did in 1934. They were married for 68 years when Bob died in 2003.

Bob and Delores had 4 children, she gave up her career in order to raise them, but after a 50 year hiatus she released a CD when she was in her 80's. The CD was also accompanied by performances in Rockefeller Center by Delores and Rosemary Clooney.

Delores also performed for troops, much like her husband did, performing from the back of a truck during the first Gulf War in 1991.  She sang "White Christmas" for them.

Bob Hope died at the age of 100 in 2003 and Delores,102 will be buried beside him Friday in a private ceremony.

I think they both lived long and happy lives because of all the laughter they shared.
