Watch ‘Anchorman’ Ron Burgundy Take Over ‘Conan’ With Ode to Mayor Rob Ford
It'll be at least a month before Ron Burgundy graces our lives with the long-awaited sequel 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,' but 'Conan' watchers needn't wait so long. The mustachioed one himself took over the show Wednesday night to preview his new book, give thoughts on ugly babies and spearhead the reelection campaign for infamous Toronto mayor Rob Ford!
Unfolding over a series of clips, 'Conan' has made available three total segments of Will Ferrell's in-character appearance as the legendary Ron Burgundy, similar to how Ferrell initially announced the sequel last year. In the clips, Burgundy shills his new book, thoughts on the best nationality for baby cuteness, Dodge Durangos and, of course, busts out a little jazz flute in a performance of Loverboy's "Workin' for the Weekend" in honor of Rob Ford.
The jury's still out on whether or not 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' will live up to the magic of the first, but so long as Burgundy remains in the pop culture spotlight (and we keep swilling scotch), we're more than happy to play along.
Check out Ron Burgundy's 'Conan' appearances above and below, and tell us if you plan to see the sequel when it hits theaters December 20!
