Cody Canada Celebrates 40th Birthday, We Celebrate Cody Canada
My first Cross Canadian Ragweed album was Highway 377, got it not long before I joined the Army in ‘02. I jammed "Long Way Home" all the way to Iraq and back, also "The President Song" off Live at Billy Bob's became a favorite during that time in my life.
When I found Soul Gravy during a rare visit to the giant oasis of a PX at BIAP, I about flipped my shit, then I bought it.
"Sick and Tired" with Lee Ann Womack hit me hard. I listened to it on repeat, specifically after we redeployed to Germany. I just wanted to be back home in Texas. "17" is an all-time favorite, "All Nighter" is a new classic.
Happy birthday, Cody Canada. Thank you for the music.
