Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, walked the 2017 CMA Awards red carpet together on Wednesday night (Nov. 8). The country superstar and her now-retired hockey player husband stopped to pose for the cameras during arrivals for the annual awards ceremony, which took place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

While Fisher went for a simple black suit, Underwood went all out: She wore a form-fitting, off-the-shoulders blue gown. Underwood kept her hair down, but behind her back, to show off her dress' plunging neckline and puffy sleeves.

Underwood is co-hosting the 2017 CMA Awards with Brad Paisley. Together, they have co-hosted the ceremony every year since 2008, making 2017 their 10th consecutive year as co-hosts.

Despite her long tenure as the evening's co-host, however, this year is the first time that Underwood has been able to bring Fisher as her date to the awards show. While Fisher has been in attendance with Underwood at many awards shows over the years, his obligations with the Predators have usually precluded his attendance at the CMAs. The NHL season is in full swing by November.
