Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo – Beloved Disney Movies
Disney movies are widely popular. I mean, who doesn't like wholesome Disney stories? Whether you enjoy live-action movies like The Mighty Ducks or the classics like Cinderella, Abilene knows its Disney flicks.

Here are the top picks:
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
This was Disney’s first fully animated film. Can you guess the year? It was in 1937 that this classic came out. This film has a little of everything...wicked forces, poisoned edibles, and that love-filled kiss. This film is a cornerstone piece for Disney.
One Hundred and One Dalmations
In this 1961 smash, have you ever noticed how the animators created the dog breeds to look like their owners? Genius! My favorite part is the villain, Cruella de Vil. She’s one sour dog-napping monster whose passion for fur coats winds her up in trouble.
Cinderella
This three-time Oscar nominee from 1950 is actually only about an hour long, but it has some of the most adorable characters next to Mickey and Minnie. It’s hard to ignore this fantasy love story with plenty of mystery, magic, and more.
Beauty and the Beast
Sure, I could say it’s a great movie from a technical standpoint. After all, its computer animation blended with hand-drawn animation is amazing. But this 1992 Best Picture nominee has much more. Not only does it guide the heroine to her true, man-beast love but the sing-alongs are always a crowd-pleaser.
The Lion King
The King of the Jungle is joined by his funny warthog and meerkat buddies on this adventure. This film features the voices the Johnathon Taylor Thomas and Matthew Broderick and is a two-time Oscar winner for its original music and score. It still remains in the heart of many.
