Aretha Franklin Getting Married

Known as the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin has said she is getting married. William "Willie" Wilkerson has reigned in the Queen of Soul to be his soul mate. Aretha is not only happy about the engagement to her longtime friend but even jokes about it with the media.

Aretha and Willie were known as "forever friends" but that has changed now that Willie and Aretha are engaged to be married. Aretha even joking with the media making sure they know she's "Not Pregnant"!

Aretha is 69 and suffered some health scares recently but lost 85 pounds afterwards. She says she is feeling great and is looking forward to a summer wedding. Telling People magazine she's thinking June or July. They want to be married on possibly Miami Beach but nothing has been set in stone as of yet.

This will be Aretha's third marriage.
