3rd Annual Toys For Tots and Big Country Car Clubs ‘Car-n-Truck Show’ Coming to Abilene November 17th
There's an opportunity for car owners and enthusiasts to come together, check out some of the sweetest rides in the Big Country, and help out kids in need this holiday season. The Big Country Car Clubs and Toys For Tots are teaming together for their 3rd annual 'Car-n-Truck Show'. The benefit, coming up on Saturday, November 17th, will take place at the United Supermarket parking lot on South 14th and Willis in Abilene.

The 3rd annual Toys For Tots and Big Country Car Clubs 'Car-n-Truck Show' is sponsored in part by United Supermarkets, NAPA Auto Parts and Quizno's. It will provide a great opportunity to help children in Abilene and the surrounding communities. Spend the day showcasing your car or truck, or coming out to see some of the coolest rides in the Big Country. There will be prizes, live entertainment, and toys will be collected on behalf of Toys For Tots.
About Toys For Tots
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
The primary goal of Toys For Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
The objectives of Toys For Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.
