The Muscular Dystrophy Telethon on Labor Day weekend (now called the "M.D.A. Show of Strength"), has always been in my opinion, a 'must see event'. This year there's even more of a reason to watch the show. Country music Superstars Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan are scheduled to appear on the Show of Strength. 2012 Rehab Telethon Raises All Time Record Amount

This years West Texas Rehab Center telethon and auction, raised more money than any other year in the 42 year history of the Rehab telethon. The final amount given as of Sunday evening was $1,335,664, that beats the previous record high of $1,271,367 set in 2008. The overall total in the 42 years the telethon has been broadcast, is almost 35 million dollars combined.
