The West Texas Rehab’s Top Gun Classic is Not Too Full to Take on More Shooters
Abilene's largest and most popular clay shoot is upon us. The 11th Annual West Texas Rehabilitation Center's Top Gun Classic Clay Shoot is taking place March 21st and 22nd. The classic is at capacity as far as shooters are concerned. As I was broadcasting live at Haught's Tree Service recently, I spoke with the Rehab Centers Director of Marketing and Donor Relations Dan Huggins (who was there picking up prizes), he said "we will never be too full that we can't take another team."
Last years clay shoot saw over 170 teams compete, I believe the reason this clay shoot is doing well, is because of the number of guns and other prizes that are being given away. One of which is a Toro Lawnmower, just like the one we gave away at my live broadcast Saturday.
The Top Gun Classic has a large number of shotguns to be awarded in drawings along with a gun to be presented to the Friday afternoon, Saturday Course A and Saturday Course B Top Gun winners. The raffle for a high grade Over/Under shotgun. (One free raffle ticket per registered shooter, additional raffle tickets for $10 each or 3 for $20 can be bought.) the drawing for raffle shotgun will be held at Saturday at the awards party, you do not have to be present to win. Several Gun Board slots available for purchase and fun shooting games will be set up as well.
The awards party and dinner is at 7pm at the Round Building at the Taylor County Expo Center on Saturday March 22nd. If you'd like to bring your spouse or a friend, additional dinner only tickets can be purchased in advance. For registration or information please contact Dan Huggins at West Texas rehabilitation Center at (325) 793-3508.
