On Monday night, (Nov. 18) the remaining Voice contestants moved into the Finals round, where they perform live for coaches coaches Blake SheltonKelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani and John Legend, as well as America's votes. This evening also happened to be Dedication Night, with each singer dedicating his or her performance to an important thing or person in their lives.

When Team Kelly's Shane Q had his moment to take the stage, he made no bones about how hard he's been working preparing for the moment. "Kelly is pushing me hard. I'm a shy guy. Working a stage is something I never had to do. I'm not going to get a save this time," he observed. "I have to put in the work. I'm going to show America what I got."

Clarkson's advice was to "Open those beautiful eyes and smile," as well as think of his loved ones. Shane had no problem with the latter part of that, dedicating his song to his mother, who was flown out to Los Angeles specially for the occasion.

After a soulful performance of Rascal Flatts' "My Wish," Shelton marveled, "What you doing in the country lane, dammit?" to the singer. "Last week I was shocked to see you be the save. I feel like you've been one of the frontrunners in the competition. That performance probably gets you back up there. Great job."

Meanwhile, Clarkson raved, "You did it. You opened your eyes; you looked at everybody. You sang it and connected...I I want every song to be for your mama, you did so great!"

We'll be following along each week to keep up with the Season 17 competition, so be sure to check in weekly to check the progress of your favorites on the show.
