I listen to a lot of new country music every week, and lately a lot of it is too rock sounding. Eric Church's new song "The Outsiders" is one song in particular that, in my opinion is too rock sounding for country radio. Don't get me wrong I like the first 2 minutes and 49 seconds however, I love the last minute and 30 seconds when it really rocks out hard. Don't just take my word for it

It seems that the lines between music genres are blurring.  Old 80's rock stars are now becoming country artists and country artists are teaming up with pop and rock artists to make huge hits.  It's a smart marketing move, I have to say. You get top artists from their respective genre bringing all of their fans to the table and you have doubled your exposure.  That's been happening more and more t
